If it would be RF coupled I'd have bought it straigth away.
I have no relationship with this seller.

The Pen FT 25mm Zuiko is f4 and (afaik) uncoupled - no reason to prefer it over a CV 25mm... and are you shure the half frame circle covers the M8 sensor?

Hi Didier,
there was also a 25/2.8. Uncoupled and different registration
distance, but only very small difference (like 2mm or so). Also half format
is the same as cine, so might not cover the entire M8 frame, but almost ...
But you're right, still too much trouble, most likely.

That's interesting, but if you give up 1 stop (and a tiny bit), you can have the Zeiss 25/2.8 which is half the size, full frame, rangefinder coupled and probably much better technically. But anyway...

This guy is on flickr. He is a nice guy. He helped me out with converting an arri mount lens. He is also a very skilled machinist. He "hacked" several rare lenses making them leica coupled. On several he has made the focusing helix and all. Very talented guy. Here's a link to his flickr.
