Okay, I'm back online after spending all day with clients. And man, after all this talk about locations, I'm clueless and lost about where we might meet up. Of course, those that know me would say that clueloss and lost is my normal state of being (smile). Anyways, I'm open for the day and happy to meet up wherever. And I don't know one place from another so I shouldn't be the one to choose. And I'm even happy to pick up folks and drive to wherever if that's easier. SO, what are we doing? Just let me know when and where and I'll be there!

So, I'm guessing close to where you are in Richmond Hill might be good.

Well, that's certainly convenient for me. Is there anything scenic to schoot around here? All I've seen so far is industrial parks. But I'm not picky so whatever you guys pick is fine by me. Just say when and where. We thinking lunch, afternoon, early evening, dinner, all of the above, ... ? I'm open to suggestion. And we can do one meet in one area and another meet in another is that works best.

Depends on what you'd like to shoot. The Mill Pond is a nice walk if it's a good day.
I think there are a few interesting buildings left on Yonge St. north of Major Mackenzie if that's more to people's fancy.

Peter, you're the closest local. Can you make the call? I'm not available until 3:30, but it sounds like others can be around earlier. Just tell me where to meet you guys around 3:30.

Like I said, I'm not picky. And I probably shouldn't have used the word "scenic" since I didn't mean we had to go somewhere to shoot postcard shots. Port Credit did sound nice, however. But you guys decide. So, with that said, when and where we meeting? Sounds like we could do one thing from noon to 3ish and then wherever works for Frank after that? Or just meet somewhere at 2 or 3ish and Frank can meet up with us? Or, heck, I don't know. Your call guys...

I'll provisionally suggest the Falcon and Firkin pub on Yonge St. in Richmond Hill.

I'd vote for the Falcon & Firkin from 2pm on. We could decide where to go from there if need be.

The plan is noon at the Courtyard Marriott Markham (65 Minthorn Blvd) and then on to Bruce's Mill Conservation area in Stouffville to take in the Sugar Bush festival. Admission is $7.
If you can't make the hotel by noon, but want to meet at Bruce's Mill. PM me and I'll give you my cell #
Back to Markham around 3:30 p.m. to meet FrankS and any others who want to join.

Oh, and a slight extension to the plan. I'm meeting up with Gene for breakfast on Saturday in Port Credit before catching my flight back home in the early afternoon. Anyone who wants to join us is, of course, welcome to do so. I'm heading out shortly today to meet up with everyone but if others want to join Gene and myself on Saturday just shoot me a PM and I'll respond later tonight (Fri) with details.

Mike, the new meeting place is Courtyard Marriott, Markham. Highway 7 and 404. It's just a few more blocks east. Try Google Maps.
