Update on my recently Black painted M2

Disappointingly I have to report that painting my M2 black has not improved my photography AT ALL:bang:

Well, I feel you, but the reason for that is clear in your photo. The lens is not black. The kit is not at one with itself -- throwing off your results.

Yeah... its a 'feng shui' thing. Ummm.. or maybe a 'yin/yang' thing? You know... one of those 'this doesn't go with that' things. 🙂

I totally disagree. The silver on black is just fine. It's the strap that's the problem!

You need the domke gripper strap. Then you'll take great photos. Its a little known secret.

You need one of those extra wide brightly colored fabric "guitar straps" that were so popular back in the 1970's. It'll make your subjects smile.

I have 2 of them

My first camera, an Olympus OM-G slr that my dad bought me when I was 11 yrs old, had one of those crazy 70's looking straps. They were still popular in the 1980s when I was a kid...we got the strap new at Kmart! My dad's camera had one too, and I still have both of them. I should put them back on a camera and use them!

I've got one as well, but it was rusty and ripped off the original black paint on my Bessa. Needless to say it hasn't been used since...
