As you can see, RFF has been updated. I will turn the forum on again shortly after all attachements finish their move. There are some missing items which I will get to in the next few days so hang tight. However, this should be a good thing and you should see some added benefits.

The font seems different - I had to make it one size bigger in Firefox to make it look like it did before. Did you change the font settings?

wow, it is really small.

some nice changes though;
a) You can see the chat-tool (AIM, etc) in the profile info next the someone's post, b) and I LOVE THIS CHANGE: The quick reply box now have the IMG and other HTML quick-buttons available!,
c) I don't recall if this was there before or not...but the thread display options in your user option settings are awesome! Especially the 'Show Images' option !!!!

I like the threaded mode option under display modes. Thats really cool for long long threads.

The extra icons in the reply box can be set in your profile onder options way at the bottom.

Jorge - Joe's right about the font size. This is difficult to read, and adjusting font size in MS Internet Explorer doesn't change it.

I logged on, went to classifieds, and then had a heckuva time getting back to the home page. I had to exit and start over. I know that I'm a computer disaster, but what happened to "RFF Home"? I also concur with Joe on the size of the font. Definitely for younger eyes than mine.

I am having the same problem as Flinor. Once I logged in, www.rangefinderforum.com is a near blank page saying: you would need to provide your own index.php if they don't have to use the home module, because the index.php included with vbportal, just sends them here.

Thanks,

William

Same here about that. But the type size is OK for me...seems the same as before.
Using firefox.

For the old farts that need glasses, if you go to the bottom of the page you will see a drop down list that has Afterdark-VBP354 and Afterdark-VBP354+

If you select Afterdark-VBP354+ the font will be larger. I am not done updating all the fonst but its a start.

Moderators, you have more options. DO NOT select anything other than the afterdark or legacy. You will be sorry if you do 🙂

I suggest you clear all your cookies, close all browsers then log on to the home page. This should work.

Hi Jorge... Grumble, squint, grumble... for this old fart that solution enlarges quoted text, footers, and the title if any, but the text of the message body remains the same small size. Any more ideas?

I use OPera browser. Hitting the '+' or '-' key enlarges/reduces the font to any desired scale. Hitting'*' returns to normal.

I thoght this worked for all browsers.🙂 Try it.

Cheers,
Erl

Same prob as others - the "+" scheme enlarges some but not all of the text, esp. the body text. I deleted all cookies and restarted my browser (FireFox) as per the instructions.

The body font to be larger as it's difficult to read on my 1600 x 1200 res. screen...

The Afterdark-VBP354 thingie, + or no + doesn't do anything for me, logged in and using Firefox. Changing the font size in Firefox works okay, though the font is a smidgen too big. I am feeling like I have failing eyesight, but the optician says otherwise! And the original font was a wee bit too small... 😀
