Finally got around to shooting this camera after finding it in a junk store for $5 with the case. It was a little dirty, but cleaned up nicely. A couple of times in the roll there was some run-on with the frame spacing, but it wasn't anything that couldn't be rectified with some judicious cropping. I see now why most folks rave about this camera, as the 35mm lens is superb for a P&S. And I can use filters, too!

Photos are of a two block stretch of Salem Avenue in Roanoke, VA, where there has been a lot of work going on rehabing old warehouses and the like. Film used was Kodak Ultramax 400, and was commercially developed and scanned at PhotoUSA in Roanoke.

Wow, those shots look similar to the Minox photos others have posted. Very sharp. Great IQ for a camera at any price, but for a $5 one you seem to have found the top dog.

There's a nice one on eBay with a cute little hood for....$179! Maybe it's a really good hood.

Does it say Leica on the hood?

Silent? Not the one I have... (original model). Let's just say the asking price is not the only indicator that this ebay seller is out of touch with reality.

I could be persuaded to sell mine as it just doesn't get used much. Not trying to cheat RFF out of the ad fee so it would be through the classifieds.
