I've got a Kiev III in need of a CLA. Does anybody know of a repair guy in the USA that handles them ?

Fedka in New York did a good job fixing a light leak on my Kiev 4a. I'm not sure if the store still has a technician, but here's the website:

Send an e-mail. Yuri is a nice guy, good communication.

Our head barkeep, right there in CA, has some good repair contacts...
You might want to check with Stephen. Other then that - Fedka.

I'm not sure there is any repairman in the US who can fix the situation in Kyiv.

I can second that. I sent my Kiev IIA to Stanislav for a CLA and had it back in a day less than 2 weeks and what a difference. What used to feel like gravel is now smooth as butter. The rangefinder is also much clearer now. It also used to have the common Kiev light leak that is no longer there. Feels like a whole new camera. I have 2 more Kievs that will be getting his treatment.

I have sent a few cameras to Oleg at OK cameras. He is not in the US, but his work has been top notch, and his turnaround time is not bad. He has repaired Contax, Leica, and FED cameras for me, and did a great job.
