Used Ikon Serial#

Hey all, So after much research and camera shopping I found a great deal at Photovillage for a used in near mint condition Zeiss Ikon. I just wanted to know if anyone can give me information on this serial number (Ser.No. 15594421) thanks.

Well, I guess it's a bit newer than mine, 1553-range, new 4 years ago in Sept.

Yea I can't wait to use it. I just have to find a 35MM lens used or save for one.

Dwayne, serial numbers for the ZI won't tell you anything as there has been no changes to production, afaik.

Ok, I thought It might determine the year of production in which it was made. Not that it matters.
