I disagree. The V3 I have is MUCH better than the Ultron. I know cause I have both and at f/2.8 the Elmarit wipes the floor with the Ultron from center to corner, with higher contrast and sharpness by a noticeable amount.

Here is a sample of the V3 wide open. I'd like to see just how much better the V4 and ASPH is. Nothing special picture wise but an example of it's performance.

This lens gets misunderstood as it's fat head appearance is somewhat of a deterrence for the Paris Hilton fashion conscious people out there, but gets a great review here, of which I agree 100%. http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/customer-forum/45854-praise-mandler-lenses.html
