I'm the new guy that purchased the Leica IIIf w/Elmar that
Mark offered in the classifieds here last week.
This is my first private party internet transaction and my first
Leica (maybe only?) and I couldn't be happier!
Mark was very prompt on all counts including communications
and shipped the camera without delay. The camera itself is very fine,
and I know I am very luck to have it.
I am not paypal connected or internet saavy so I sent out a postal
money order simply on trust, which Mark certainly justified.
Have to say I'd recommend dealing with haagen_daz without reservation.

RFF'er "triplefinger" / Mike .. I purchased a 15 mm lens from Mike and when he got my cash it's here 5 days later . Very nice Mike.. thanks and I'm waiting to use it. Probably this weekend! (BTW a propos another thread on couriers he agreed to use my fave people... USPS and Canada Post. Who says they don't deliver, the box was perfect!)

I was unaware this thread existed. But now that I am, I have to say that martin-f5 from Germany was a true gentleman to do business with, and the M-Hexanon 35/2 he sold me was as good as he described, if not better. Shipped when he said, and packed better that seemed necessary (although, given the beating it copped, I'm glad it was - something I'll remember for the future).
You couldn't find a nicer guy to do business with than Martin.
