I sold an Industar Lens to a Mr. Francis Tan of Alhambra, CA although the shipping address said: Sun C. Sam (so I am not exactly sure who I am dealing with). His RFF id is kingsley244

This was a $10 purchase plus shipping.

The lens was paid for on Thanksgiving via PayPal just before midnight and shipped 5 days later (the post office was closed on Friday, and many were closed Saturday). On Wednesday he made one hostile inquiry, which received a terse reply from me that I had shipped the lens the day before.

Here was his profane bit of hate mail to me that followed. I have, of course, appropriately edited the profanity:

"Are you a con or something ? You don't think you need to give an explanation for taking f***ing long to send the lens ???

"F*** you."

As a person to do business with, this RFF member is clearly not recommended by me.

Bought a Kiev from John. The equipment was accurately described and he went out of his way to smooth over some shipping irregularities. A good person to do business with. Recommended.

I bought a Leica 50mm Summicron from Emil. Communication was excellent throughout. Shipping was fast, and the item was exactly as described. Emil even went so far as to refund part of what I'd paid as there was no lens cap. A pleasure to deal with, and I would be happy to deal with him again 🙂.
