Comments: He sold me a 40mm 'Cron-C for my CL for $225. He described the glass as being damn near spotless, and the pictures agreed. Shipped it as soon as we had everything worked out, and it actually got here before my CL. (Still waiting on it at the moment.) I really have to say, his description of the glass didn't even come close to doing it justice. This lens looks like it just came out of the box, and it's thirty years old.

The camera turned out to be in considerably nicer condition than I expected and it's looking like I'll even be able to resurrect the meter as well He was very easy to work with and I thank him for the pleasure of buying from him. Still waiting on my adapter, but then off we go...

Gman needs no introductions around here, but let me add my kudos. He "winterized" the lovely Canonet QL17 GIII I sent him, cleaning the shutter and doing a freezer test to make sure it worked in sub-freezing weather. I bought a Canonet QL19 from him for the return package, and he freezer tested that one too! Both cameras arrived today, extremely well packaged, and looking youthful and perky. They look *so* clean and nice.
Today he PM'd me that he had finished restoring my Yashica Electro 35 and it too is on its way to the frozen north.
One can't say enough good things about Dave. If Backalley is the patron imp of RFF (joke, joe...) gman is the patron saint :angel:

RFF'er GeorgeS ... posted a nice camera for sale, high end. Sent the camera, emailed the tracking number, and said send the funds when you have had the camera for a while to be sure. How much better can one be? The camera came well packed , in an original box, in tasty shape.
