Godfrey--that's a really cool idea and I see a lot of potential in the this early 19th century look

Thanks!

I think what I need to do if I'm going to do enough more of this to be worth the time involved is:

- cut at least a dozen sheets of 4x5 inch paper down to 6x9cm size (24 exposures)

- acquire another three or four film holders (film holders for the Press 23 hold one sheet at a time, it would be good to have at least a half dozen exposures to work with when I go out for a picture taking session!)

- rig up a temporary use darkroom so I can do tray development ... Using a 4x5 multi-format sheet film tank consumes a heck of a lot of chemistry needlessly.

- be sure I have enough fresh paper developer on hand... LOL! (Yes, my order is in to B&H Photo for another couple of bottles of Ilford Multigrade developer.)

Another avenue to explore is to get a simple 4x5 inch field camera or pinhole camera and eschew the whole cutting process, as well as the rather fussy to work with Mamiya Press 23 film holders.

That said, I'm pleased with the look this first experiment produced. It's just that it's so much work to do it, I suspect I won't do it very often.
