Using Liquid Light

Is anybody here familiar with Liquid Light? I am having a problem getting images to appear after exposure and development. I have followed the mfgr's instructions carefully, but no luck. Are there any special tricks or tips for using Liquid Light? Specifically, any tips about coating (matboard in this case)? The directions say to dilute Dektol 1 part developer to 2 parts water. Is that a dilution of the stock solution or working solution? Thanks for any help you can give.

I've used liquid light at home and at work a few times and have had varying results. i think it all depends on the developer you use (i have always used d76) and on how porous or non-porous the material you're appling it to is.
The materials I've had it work with are wood, canvas and fabriano paper.
Does the image develop but then kinda fall off the surface when fixing?
i also tend not to use a stop bath and just wash the material for a long time after fixing.
I've never had remarkable results from it but it does have a certain charm.
i suppose its worth trying different materials and seeing what happens!
