UV filter

I have bought a UV filter (Kendo UV MC Digital filter) to put on my X100 primarily for protection. Has anyone noticed and extra flare or other influence from using filters with the X100?

I haven't noticed any flare problems with my Hoya UV. How are you fitting your filter, without the correct depth of the adapter on which the filter fits you can get the lens hitting the filter when in macro mode, this cause a 'turn the camera off' message. I use a chinese copy of the original Fuji adapter & hood and it works perfectly.
 
Thanks - interesting, didn´t know there could be a problem with the macro mode. But, I have the original Fuji adapter and hood and have it mounted in the adapter so I guess it should be fine! Jon
 
Yes you'll be fine.

And I haven't noticed any more flares etc, but I (pretty much) always shoot with the lens hood on anyway, to take the worst, I guess.
