I have a V500 and with 35mm I get pretty much what I expected. All fine and fairly straightforward.
My problem is with medium format negs bowing . Using the Epson holders it is hard to get the whole image in focus and fiddling around with bits of card to change the height is infuriating.
Does anyone have any hints or tips?
Is it time for glass neg holders?
Or does the V700 have adjustable focus?
All advice welcome and much appreciated!

Instead of getting a new scanner, you might try the Better Scanning adjustable antinewton film holder first.

+1 for better scanning holders. It's a life saver when you have crooked MF neg strips.
