Hey folks,
I recently got a v600 and downloaded epson scan and i was wondering if anyone has a easy and consistent method to scan slightly larger than the negative size to get a black border? Sure i could crop out every single one, but I'm lazy and want to know if there is a more efficient method.

On the histogram in the professional mode the black border will show as a blip; you can include it or not on your histogram choice.
I use a shareware Mac-only graphic editor in my post-processing, called GraphicConverter. It has an option to apply a border of different thicknesses, whatever the size or proportions of the image, and it can be inside, outside or straddling the photo's edges.
