V700 handling tip

This totally depends on how or where your scanner is situated I guess, but mine is on my desk to my left. I just realized I've developed a bad habit of lifting the scanner lid with my left hand and removing the holder by grabbing the side tab that registers the holder in the flatbed.

Anyway, I am scanning a lot right now and just found that the tab is so weakened by my constantly picking it up there that it is about to break off.

I've noticed that the plastic the holders are made of is pretty crappy ... I've already had to superglue one back together after it fractured a while ago.

I keep my scanner (V700) on the right! 😀

they are crappy, I cant understand why such a good, and when you know how to use them, they are very good scanners, has such poor holders. Ive made masks for different formats that fit into the 4x5 holders which works best for me.
