Well loved… buddy has brought this to many many countries abroad. It’s been serviced by Leica.

What would you pay? He’s offering it at 4700.

it looks like a brass bowl. NO idea why he did that.

It mostly depends on how the glass looks. The lens has obviously been used hard.

Eh, considering the well-worn condition, I'm guessing the price is what I might expect on *Bay assuming the glass is perfect. I had it's predecessor, and in my hands, it was one big, heavy, and expensive Lensbaby. Briefly sampled the f/0.95, and versus the older f/1.0 and thought the newer lens was much improved, pretty much apochromatic, with only a slight green halo visible in some situations. But in recent years really fast, high-performance glass with killer bokeh has become much more common than it once was.

Although it certainly can be used for everyday shooting, to me, it's bulk and heft make it more of a specialty item.

Ended up pulling back from the deal. Didn’t feel good about it.
