anyone know of any recent sales of this lens? i know what Mckeown's book price is, but wondering if that is accurate in the current market.

Rare Niklon gear is difficult to accurately value. Not enough change hands to establish a base price. So it really is a matter of what it's worth to the buyer-seller.

So i suppose this is the right price at this moment, like Kiu have just posted.
