No idea, I've been reading dpreview's announcement, but couldn't find anything in english about the lens.
Even cameraquest seems to ignore the launch.
Well, just sit down and wait for news, probably it's just like the 15mm, the second version added rangefinder coupling and a new filter management, together with an easier way of coding.
I'm curious, I was just thinking about buying a wideangle soon for my M8...

not true, the new 12 was up on the price list and lens page two days ago.

the new version is rangefinder coupled, takes 67mm filters without a filter adapter, M mount, and there is a new VF too.

Estimated shipping in about a month. no price yet, but I am taking $100 refundable deposits to Stephen@CameraQuest.com for my first shipment.

They will be release in March and the price:

- ULTRA WIDE-HELIAR 12mm F5.6 Aspherical II for 85,000 yen
(Filter 67mm, 8 elements in 10 groups, 9 blades, Focus from 0.7m but depends the camera, from F5.6 to F22, weigth 230gr., lenght 42.5mm....)

- View Finder 12mm M for 34,000 yen

The price will be less for sure, always happens 😀
