Hi, i´d like to ask you if there´s any review out ther or in here about this lens (VC 25mm f4)

I´m looking for a wide but not 21, and of course small alternative to use on my m cameras.

So all your opinions on this subject are most appreciated!

;)

Search with Google "25 Skopar site:rangefinderforum.com". You'll find a lot of discussion on here about it. I hardly take out my Zeiss 25 as it is big. The VC is tiny. Mine flares easily, which is the limiting factor for me. It is quite sharp enough.

This is with the S-mount version of the VC 25mm f4.0 @ f4. It is the same formula as the Ltm/M mount lens. Vey good performer - straight rendition, really no issues at all. Tiny too.
I actually have 3-4 of them, Snap-Shot, Ltm, M and the S mount. Total cost probably less than the Zeiss 25f2.8 though that one is arguably one of the best medium wides ever. It is a big though - and is only taken along when you know you need it. The VC 25's usually come along in the pocket - just in case you feel you need the extra reach.
Nikon SP, S-mount 25mm f4 Color Skopar, TriX in D76 1;1/10 min.

Great...i see the lens perfmorms very well and disotrtion isn´t an issue...although i love my biogon 28 i use it almost at f8 f11...and i do like small gear!

Tom, that is a fine shot, for both composition and tonality! And I agree about the 25mm CV. What a fine lens, in such a small, handy package!

I have the uncoupled version. I had it once and bought it again because I like it so much. I prefer the angle over a 21 and a 28 for the right balance. It is a perfect snapshot lens (hence the name).
Although I plan to go back to a 28 again since I do not like the additional finder.

What I like about the V1 is that it is not coupled (weird eh?) because it forces you to trust the zone focus (which ultimately makes you shoot faster)

I've not so much online with that lens in the moment - but anyway:

Used one for over a year on both M8 and M9 - great focal length, size and good sharpness but I replaced with with the zeiss 25/2.8 for the speed, sharpness, distortion and colours recently.

On a budget, or for a compact option, it's great.
