Over 2 years ago I purchased a Mint 40mm Nokton V1. The focus was extremely stiff, and I was wrong in thinking that it would get better with use. I had to disassemble it, remove the dry grease , hand lapped and relubed 3 times (much better now but wobbly, will have to run some tests - definitely a poor VC mechanical design😡).
Since I want to replace some of the old screws, I contacted Cosina to ask about the screw sizes and pitch to order them from micro-tools (recently another RFF member was quoted $10 for 2 screws by VC:bang🙂.

To my surprise, this was their response:

"We understand that you ask for screw for Lens　Mount. These screws are not a marketed commodity😕.
These are made exclusively for Cosina. We don't know there are available to find similar screws at micro-tools.
If you have any problem with Cosina lens when you replace similar screws,
We have no responsibility at all our products.
Thank you for using our products. We hope you will enjoy with Cosina products😱.

Any ideas about finding the proper screw size/pitch?

I dismantled my Ultron 1.7/35 and lost three screws.
Similar experience with Voigtländer Germany, but I found that these fit nicely.

I still have some left, so drop me a private message and I will stick some in an envelope.

Edit: These will not fit the lens mount, though.

Does anyone else know what size screws are used in Voigtlander/Zeiss ZM lenses?

You can also get the specs on various screws if you have a sample by taking them to a machine shop and having them measure the diameter, thread pitch, etc.
makes it much easier to order parts when you can quote their specs.
