Vented slanted 40mm lens hood

Finally found a 40mm vented slanted hood for my Canon 1.8 lens,it took a little searching got it from heavystar.Seems like a good price 19.80.

It's a good hood. I do think it's a 43mm hood with 40-43 step-up adapter, though. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

40mm Hood vignetts with a 35/40mm lens in my experience. I suspect this is why the HS 43mm hood is offered with adapter.
