Veriwide 100 or Lomo LCA-120 anyone?

I like this camera. A lot. Using old Fuji Pro 160

And crop from above:

It's actually quite a bit sharper than what is shown, there's that wonderful Flicker resizing algorithm again!

I have 2 of these through luck alone. 1st version and the 2nd one with multi levels. I shoot both regularly as ultra wide angle photos are best viewed as LARGE prints.

This is in the Santa Monica mountains; it used to be a combination of trees, bushes and chaparral. The recent fires destroyed everything.

I've wanted the original Veriwide for a very long time. Still contemplating. I could sell some stuff I'm not using and get one. Just haven't found the right deal.

Yep that's the one I have. It is such a beautifully made camera and so silky smooth to use. I much prefer it to my Fuji 690. My last roll - image above - was shot on Ilford 3200 as I was curious to see how to expand the shooting envelope as the max aperture is f8.
With ISO 3200 you in essence have an f2.8 lens at iso 400 exposure-wise.
A min aperture of f32 makes things very useable with ISO 3200.
I was surprised at the lack of grain in the image - perhaps from overexposure then dev the film at box rating, which is how I shot it.

Yes in my experiences with MF slow lenses, high speed film is the answer for handholding. I am also doing the same thing with 120 Delta 3200 with my Plaubel Makina IIIR, and the 73mm F6.8 Plaubel Orthar. I really like this one but I want WIDER. This camera will complete my Plaubel systems.

Not as wide as the 47mm Super Angulon, I am a huge fan of that lens. I have a copy already in a shutter, that I use on my Sinar 4x5 Norma, with roll back. The Veriwide is a very small package for what it is.

If I can find a good one at a good price I'll grab it.
