Version 4 summicron 50 in chrome?

Anybody know if the v4 50 summicron came in chrome? What would the going price be?

I've seen it once or twice available, recently actually on Ebay. There was one going for around $2000. Sorry I can't provide a better lead, but they are out there!

I haven't ever seen one til now! It looks like there's a limited edition version. I'd love to get my hands on a nice regular chrome copy. Ah well.

I have one in chrome ,3899***.
At least I have always thought it a ver four.

I paid £600 for it a few years ago but they seem to have doubled in price recently.

The second is some LHSA limited edition. I guess the lens was available in chrome as a regular finish.

Yeah I think I have seen an odd one or two regular chrome versions around. They are harder to find I agree..
