Does anyone know how to adjust a Canon vi rangefinder vertically? Infinity focus is fine, it's just that the images are displaced vertically slightly but so much so that the images don't snap into focus because they are not vertically coincidental.
Thanks!

Hi there, I'm not familiar with your particular camera, but have you tried searching for sites on how to DIY your adjustment? Usu it involves taking off the top plate and exposing the rangefinding assembly. There are usu 2 adjusting screws, one would adjust the horizontal alignment and the other would do the vertical one. just fit on your lens, focus on infinity, adjust the screws for alignment and your done! usu alignment for shorter distances should be accurate once the infinity alignment is settled.

Thanks Darrel. Luckily it was much easier than taking off the top plate on my camera. I found the info on Karen Nakamura's site. It was simply a matter of unsrewing the bezel ring of the rangefinder window and rotating the rangefinder window until allignment is achieved. It's much easier to focus now. I just need to wait until I receive a complete lens for this camera from the seller.
