Hello,
I have Zorki 4K and I like the lens Jupiter 8 (50mm) a lot. It draws nicely and sharp when you focus right...

Only one thing bothers me about this camera: it does not have framing lines in the vewfinder. I wonder what external viewfinder would you recommend, besides that large Turrent thing...

Thanks a lot!

get a Leitz SBOOI or a CV 50mm finder,...you will not regret it.

I guess you mean that you don't like VF's unless they are greater than 100% ?? I think the Zorki 4 VF is one of the best ever made... too bad it's not on a Retina or Oly or something... oops, sorry... didn't mean to say that! :)

I realize that. But absence of lines defining the frame there bothers me.

Heh, in opposite to you, after years spent with FEDs and Zorki, I'm confused with framing with frames in Bessa now ;-) In Zorki generally what you see through vf is almost this what you'll see on picture (unless there's something misaligned).

I like them fine on SLRs, where what you see is what you get (atcually, that's not true either, but close enough for this conversation). Here with Zorki 4K (and I presume Zorki 4 is the same way) you can "sort of" see more than get's in the frame of negative later. I love that Olympus allows me to see the edges of frame, marked with bright white lines, yes.
Maybe I am being too picky but still. Sometimes my framing is off although was not supposed to be. I figure that external viewfinder should solve my problem.

Here is an example - Zorki 4K, Foma 200 Creative.

It can be irritating for me that's why I like the dimmer VF's of the Feds.
The turret finder works very well and there seems to be no problems with the parallax
other than with the Kievs.

That was something else I meant to ask: do Kiev RF cameras have the white lines defining the frame or they are like Zorki? Which Russian RF has those?

Thanks for your help!
