I've also just moved from 3 to 5, and so far I think it's a very significant improvement. I haven't tried any film scans yet, but it appears to do a better job with various raw files.
Wouter, are you the Wouter who used to shoot a GX100? If so, I always enjoyed that stream of work. I had one and was very sad when it died. MY subsequent GX200 was then left on a train... Really nice small cameras, and I actually enjoyed the small sensor aesthetic and the hyperfocal mode.
