This thread is too weird!
The Falkland war was just from 2 April 1982 until 20 june 1982 - and most of that period British troops were on ships going south. Doesn't warrant the brassing. 😱Ok, Falklands OM1.
You just told somebody from Vietnam who visits English speaking forums and has a stated interest to know how others think about his country, that "the Vietnam war has had a profound effect on Western culture" - I guess he did know that :bang:I don't think the OP was being derogatory in any way. The Vietnam war has had a profound effect on Western culture
Looking good Ped, pedants eh? Damn world fulla them. I know what you mean by the green and black thing.

Some feel they have to defend the Vietnamese, and if the Vietnam war learned us one thing, it is the fact that the Vietnamese are perfectly capable of defending themselves 😀
As an Vietnamese, it's interesting for me to know how others think about Vietnam. Now I got a new notion: "Black and Green"

For me its food - but I don't think it'd be practical to make a camera look like a pork sandwich. 😀
Can all you negs kindly crochet your own over offended muesli somewhere of you your own making?
What is this, a self righteous, self aggrandising reach around witch hunt? I've not read such overwhelming, smug, easily offended PC bollocks in a long time.
In the guitar world that's called "Road Worn". Why someone would take a perfectly nice guitar and make it look like it's been tossed down the driveway is beyond me but it's a big thing. My guitar builder even has a patented process to do this and if a customer wants a Strat to look like SRV's he can do it exactly.
You must not use the internet ever if what's present here offends and perplexes you.
ped - love the camera - looks fantastic - sometimes we need things like that to give us the 'vibe' to go out and shoot
trung - love Hanoi - felt like being in a daze or a time warp, and visiting the home of Chairman Ho topped it off
the vibe - (taken with a Nikon, not an OM sorry) - the best of them are dead now
