Viewfinder Crack

I'm in line for a camera here on RFF. Problem is the owner says that the viewfinder has a small crack in the upper right hand corner. He says it doesn't affect pictures at all as you can't see it with your eye up to the finder.

Will that cause problems in the future? Internal dust etc? Or is it passable?
