The viewfinder in my recently purchased Zorki 3 is unusable. The image I see is very blurry. Diopter adjustment ring was stuck and after I forced it, rotating it did not change anything. Did I break it? Can it be fixed?
Thanks in advance

remove the top and take a look at it.

Ivan,
Sounds like it was broken when you got it. My suggestion: Off to Oleg with it!

He is quick, the price is low, and(most important) his work is excellent!
He rescued a Z3m for me that was in horrible condition and I can't reccomend him highly enough!
The only downside is that you won't have the camera for a month or so. But when you get it back, it will be as close to how it was 50 years ago when it was made as you could get.
Money and time well spent, in my opinion!

hey, they're only Zorkis
There's very short travel on the diopter adjustment in Zorki.3, 3M, 4. The lever points to the front of the camera and full travel might be 8-9mm (? approx.).

Here's Rick Oleson's image of top cover removal for a Zorki.4 if you want to take a look yourself. The Zorki.3's cover is very similar though shorter and should be even easier to remove.santino: "remove the top and take a look at it."
