First I'd heard of it, but definitely seems worth a look. Maybe I'll give it a try over the holiday weekend.

I have also been looking at a product called Helicon Filter from the Ukraine.

In the Vignette Correction there is a rather neat compare feature.
The Compare mode checkbox emphasizes the vignetting effect by adding mirror images from each side of the image. You can easier find the optimal parameters in this mode.
It seems very effective but either the adjustment is not strong enough or some images require a small amount of cropping on the extreme edges.
