Hi, found a Voigt. Vitessa close to mint and good price, but as i focused i couldn´t find the rangefinder patch.
It has the window for the RF, but nothing visible in the VF.

Is it possible it is a model without RF?

Is there any site to get more info?

What´s your experiences with such a camera?

IT´s a great camera well done, very compact!

Thanks!

If you are talking about the Voigtländer Vitessa and not the later Zeiss Ikon / Voigt Vitessa's (models 126, 500 and 1000) then all of them had coupled rangefinder. The first models (125, L, N) were fixed lens foldings. The lenses were a Color Skopar 50/3.5, Color Skopar 50/2.8 or an Ultron 50/2 which was superb. Some had a non coupled selenium meter. A somewhat later model (Vitessa T) abandoned the folding design to obtain interchangeable lenses. All these models were very similar from the optical point of view.
In this page (in french) there is some informations about almost every model: http://www.collection-appareils.fr/voigtlander/html/voigtlander_vitessa_125.php
If the Vitessa you want to buy is one of these so it is possible that the rangefinder is not working correctly. It could be completely out or so dirty that it cannot be seen in the VF window.
If you want to fix it just beware that the RF adjustement in the Vitessa is terribly painful. You have to take out the cover which has an optical part of the finder, so every time you change something in the adjustement you are obliged to put back the cover to check if it is ok or not.

Hi, thanks a lot.

I´m talking about that voigt vitessa, folding ultron lens and lightmeter up to 200 asa range.

It´s been very helpful, i thought might be some mistake because why to put an ultron f2 with a non rangecoupled camera?

I´ll take a sencond look into it and see what the problem might be.

Etherwise the camera is in very good condition, would say mint!

Hope i can get it right!

thanks!
