Vitessa L Ultron - gen. 1 light leak from back

Hello all,

Happy to join the forum and be able to see interesting threads with loads of valuable advice.

I tried to keyword search for advice to my light leak issues but no.luck therefore I decide to start a new thread.

Attached images of the light leak issue. Reason I show the film instead of pictures is because the light leak bleeds into the area outside the frame. So it should be from the back, Not the lens, shutter or bellow.

I checked the bottom foam seal and even dark taped the reverse button, the results are the same from 3 consecutive rolls. Light leak area is also consistent across three rolls.

The leak should be near the left bottom of frame therefore the top.right corner on print out.

I hope some of you who had similar experience is able to help me out.

The camera is wonderful, shot 3 rolls withwithit so far. Light leak.aside its fabulous.

The leak could be at the seam where the body and back join together - on the left side where the film take-up spool is.

Peter, Thank you for the clever leads.

I have just shine a light thru the back cover near take up spool, since my leather is start detaching, light cane thru, see red circle on image that was taken with a phone torch underneath.

Thank you so much. I hope this will put the light leak issue to bed.
