Vivian Maier is alive and well and living in Paris! Here she is pictured going for a brisk stroll in Columbus Circle during a recent visit to New York City on February 7, 2014. When not playing tourist in the Big Apple, she can often be seen dining on croissants with orange marmalade in the 14th Arrondissement Montparnasse, Paris.

Weird huh?

But check it out, things got really strange when a little later that day I spied Trent Parke trying to gather a bunch of prints he'd just spilled in the middle of 42nd street -- a huge gust of wind had scattered them to the four corners. I managed to chase down this black and white photo of a grid of some sort, but by the time I returned to where he was, he was gone! Oh well, finders keepers. I wonder who I will bump into next...
