Vivitar 285HV Disassembly Info Needed

Anyone know of a site detailing the disassembly of the venerable old Vivitar 285HV flash heads?

I could have sworn I saw one at one time but all sorts of searching has not returned me to it.

I have a couple of these old warhorses that power up but will not fire, so I thought I would open them up and take a look inside. They are NOT intuitively easy to crack the case on and I was looking for some info.

Since there are a lot of DIY types here, I thought I would ask her first. 🙂

Well, I'll try one bump then let this question die an ignominious death.

Since I have 6 of these, I'll just tear into one of the dead ones and see what happens.
