Friends - For what it is worth, and there are already some threads on this but my above camera jammed with electrix ok but could not wind on film (frozen), nor would the shutter button or film rewind button help (they were both "pushable" BTW). The spools inside the camera rotated freely although the take up spool had some friction on it. Shutter curtin was in "cocked" position. Took off bottom plate and freed the fork mechanism that engaged the film advance mech & take up spool. Advanced film lever, tickled shutter curtin (grey) lens side, familiar "click" sound and voila it works!!! I had tried the tickling of the shutter trick, only, with no affect but together with the freeing up of film winder it worked. Thanks to all various and sundry threads who I garnered the gumption to open up my camera. Now I will never ever travel without a jewelers set of tools!!! cheers and I hope this helps some poor desperate soul like myself in a foreign land without a spare camera body. Sam
