Hello, I just found this old camera and would like to know about it.It says on it Voightlander Vitesssa T, It has a brown leather case, another lens thing that says voightlander dynaret 1:4.8/100, the lens that is on the camera says voightlander skoparet 1:3,4/35, the last lens says voightlander color-spoar 1:2,8/50, and a voightlander turnit 3 50mm. If you have any info about this camera or extra parts post about it. Or send me a message. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I don't have one, but that is quite a good camera, with good lenses. You'll probably want to have it professionally cleaned and adjusted, which will set you back a bit of money. I think there are a couple of Vitessa owners here, they should weigh in.

This was the rigid-front version of the original Vitessa, which was a folding camera with barn doors. The original camera had a fixed lens, while the rigid-front camera, as you now know, offered true interchangeable lenses.

The Vitessas are well-made cameras. It sounds as if you have the same kit that I have.

The plunger serves double duty to advance the film and tension the shutter -- just as it did in the folding version. The plunger must be in the up position to release the shutter.

There are no surprises with the camera, although it's not unusual for the selenium meter to not function and for the rangefinder/viewfinder to need to be cleaned.

Check out the Voigtlander Report books by Claus Prochnow, they're in German but it's not too much of a fuss, it's mainly camera schematics and stuff like that, fun to learn the German for Film Transport (it's 'Filmtransport'). Post a pic of the camera and I might be able to point you at which one (Claus has done three volumes so far). I think Amazon have them (maybe via .de).
