Voigtlander 12mm lens and Center Filters

I have the new M version of the Voigtlander 12mm lens with the 67mm filter thread. With the first LTM version there was a 77mm filter adapter that allowed the use of center filters for vignetting control. With the new M version and the 67mm filter thread what options are there for using center filters. I am considering going back to the ltm version just for the ability to use center filters.

I'm sure you already thought of this, so I will just ask out of curiosity....and my own ignorance..

Would a 67 to 77 mm step-up adapter not be wide enough to support a 77 mm filter on that lens? ...or does the lens construction prohibit the use of such an adapter?

Lens construction(the built in hood) prevents it. you can attach a 67mm filter, but i can not find a 67mm center filter that does not have the very wide front element.
