Voigtlander 15mm Heliar LTM

Hey all, I just received a 15mm f4.5 from the bay, and I have a question that's kind of urgent since it may mean the lens needs to go back. When I have the lens wide open I can still see the aperture blades a little bit. They make a perfect circle, but its not like I'm used to with lenses wide open where all you see is glass. Is this normal or do I have a bad lens that wont open all the way??

it's a bit difficult to see, a bigger photo would help, but I'd say that mine looks the same, at f4.5 I can still see the blades for about 1mm around the opening.

Mine, at f4.5, also looks like this.
if you click at the link to the site where this photo is published you arrive at a shop...( therefore I don't link directly 😉 )
there are various photos of the lens, one shows that the lens is set at f4.5. I suppose that the aperture had not been changed for the different takes, and that the aperture seen, at the google pic, also is at f4.5.

Its normal. What matters is that the aperture blades are not visible from the rear side when the aperture is fully open.
