Thanks guys. One of those serendipitous moments. Was having a late day coffee with friends on the 2nd floor of the Sanlitun mall. On the way to the restroom you have to cross an elevated foot bridge. Turned to my left and saw this immense shaft of light coming down the between the two buildings. This was my only shot. I might have preferred it in B&W, but Kodachrome was what I had in my M3 at the time.
The beauty of this lens is that it has no distortion and doesn't pull the corners of the image. Therefore it doesn't have to "look" like a 21mm (which quickly becomes tiresome anyway) and it's just a useful lens for when you don't have enough space to use anything else, or you want to pull in some background.
Some pics of Stockholm Public Library (architect Gunnar Asplund) taken with the CV 21/4 on Kodak Ektar. I have the CS-mount version (Contax RF/Nikon S) and use it with my Contax IIIa. (I can also use this lens on my Nex-5 with Contax-M and M-Nex adapters.)
