Voigtlander 21mm lens and the M5

Works for me with the LTM version, I'd imagine the M-mount lens would be the same.

IIRC the only issue with the M5 is with collapsible lenses. The metering arm is pretty close to the shutter curtains; it's not where an SLR mirror would be.

12mm extension inside the body is safe. The meter is about 13.5mm from face of body lens flange.

If the lens works with an M6, it will work with the M5.
