Carolina Beach, NC. Taken on a Canon L1 with TMY. Just realised the blacks aren't so great in this one...hmmm.

As you can see, the great things about this lens are: no flare, no distortion, very sharp. What more do you want? (Yeah, yeah, I know... you want f2!).

I bought mine out of anger when my Summicron 28mm f2.0 developed internal flare due to coating defects and spent a year in Solms getting repaired. That lens is back now and works perfectly, but I can't bring myself to sell the Voigtlander. It isn't as sharp edge to edge, but it is plenty good enough & has one key quality that I like - it's small!

Thanks! The City Lights shot was used for the cover of a book about The Beats, which was a nice bonus...

Thanks, Ari. This lens shines for b&w and color, as the other photos in this thread demonstrate (I, too, really liked Lawrence's City Lights shot).

Ohhhhh. All these great photos are driving me nuts. Mine better arrive soon! Thank you very much for sharing!
All the wide angle shots I posted in this thread were taken with the S-mount Skopar 28/3.5 (same optical formula as the LTM version).
I like this lens so much that I have one in S-mount and LTM!

Juan -- Thank you! Another thing that's neat about this lens is that, while it's sharp and contrasty, it can also capture details in highlights and shadow. I just developed this one over the weekend, taken on a sunny day in August:
