From the dead it comes... Arise, thread! Arise!
My recent purchase of the Panasonic S5 has allowed me to finally use the Voigtlander Ultron 40mm f2 SL II with confidence. Originally on my 5D Mark II, it was pretty hit and miss as I had the stock focusing screen, and liveview focus was okay, but sucked up batteries like ducks eating peas.

I use the Ultron a bit with my G9 and Speedbooster, but it equates to 50mm f2.6. The S5 shows me what it's really like at 40mm f2 on a modern sensor, and it's pretty darn nice.
So now I find out that Voigtlander made a 28mm f2.8 Color Skopar for Nikon and Canon SLR's! Has anyone owned/used one of these, and what is it like? There isn't much info online about it.
