So I noticed 2 scratches when doing the flashlight test on my lens, will this affect images? I can only see them when looking through the front element into the rear element in a bright light. I hope this lens is not messed up.

The scratch doesn't look too bad, but why does the lens look cloudy? That would worry me.

Rob-f im not sure, I know the lens is a bit dirty with lint, but it may be my iphone too... it doesn't look bad to the eye, only when i put my phone up to it. the scratches do remain there though...

If they only really show when you put quite a bright light up to it, it's going to be fine I'm sure. I think the only thing it could do is lower the contrast in very bright situations. I have a lens with a similar scratch on the rear element but the images I get from it are as good as I would expect from a new lens. Also Malcolm Taylor (an excellent Leica repair man) told me not to worry about it at all. If you think about it, the scratches only take up ~1/10,000 of the surface area of the rear lens!
