voigtlander 35mm color skopar excess grease

I bought a new 35mm color skopar about 3 weeks ago and for the first time today I noticed that there is excess grease that is either just starting to show or I did not notice to begin with. I googled this and found one site saying that this is normal with voigtlander lenses and to not stress about it, and another site saying that this does tend to happen with voigtlander lenses and I need to return the lens for a new one. I have attached a few photos to hopefully show what I'm talking about.





Any thoughts?

On mine I see a tiny amount of grease in the same place but not as much as you have on yours. Mine is the first m mount version, not the PII.

Any thoughts?

Use a q-tip or cotton bud etc. and wipe the excess grease off.
