Does anyone care to post samples from this new lens?

This thread at photo.net - has some test shots of the out of focus areas in a link down the page a bit.

I would love to post some photos taken with the 40 1.4, if the lens that I have on order ever arrives.

A couple images in my gallery were taken with this lens. It's a wonderful lens.

I love the lens. Right now, it's the only one I own.
All the photos in my gallery were taken with it.

I must retract my statement that all my gallery photos were taken with the Voigtlander 40 1.4....I've got some older shots on there with my older Contax gear.
The specs should be below each photo though.

Welcome TomasBarva,
Thanks for the link. I really like the charactaristics of this lens. Admittedly, the OOF areas can get a little funky with it when the subject matter is irratic, that is best seen in your last shot of the lamp. Generally though, when the background has a smooth surface the bokah is very nice. It is a sharp lens, but not too much so to my eye.

Of course it's ironic that Adam Gori (the initiator of the photo.net thread) recently sold his CV gear.

Tomas, welcome to RFF! I like several of your portraits of fellow office workers, some very nice ones there. When there is an out-of-focus background, the bokeh generally looks smooth, but the OOF light fixture in one has agitated bokeh, and the last shot of the tiffany style lamp shows some bright rings... Interesting!

You are doing well Tomas!
Welcome to the forum!! That lens looks good - I may have missed this info but is it the single or multi-coated version of the lens?

Peter, this is normal multi-coated lens. I think, there are only 500 SC and they were sold only in Japan. Is it true?

Cameraquest and Photo Village sold them as well. I got mine from Photo Village. I suspect there were more than 500 after all.
