I guess that I am so much not into equipment that I may think a lens has no character because I do not see it. Now I can see "character" in my Holga lens. And maybe in my Bronica 110mm macro because it is just unbelievably sharp. But not much else.
Thanks! That's a shame that your lab killed your precious film!
I hate when it happens, that's why nowadays I develop on my own, if anything I can only blame myself :bang:
A couple of shots from the Color Heliar 75mm on my M2, I have got to be admit it was not 'love at first sight' but it is a lens I have grown into. London Bridge. by ZX9 - Keith H, on Flickr
Oh - I didn't know, there was a thread, dedicated to this sweet little lens!
I really like mine, bought it a few weeks ago from a fellow RFFer here and liked it instantly for it's great size and handling.
I also like, how it renders in a more classic, pairing perfectly with vintage lenses, I like so much.
I wonder, if there is also a single coated version of this lens?
I would like to try one and compare, what I like most.
I love this little lens. It has moderate contrast, great sharpness, and no distortion. Bokeh is also very nice and neutral. The lens is physically small, about the size of a fast 50mm lens even with the hood on it.
It makes me wonder why I should keep my 90mm lens (Apo-Lanthar).
I'm currently traveling, so I have nothing to post.
