Mike uses Fuji in camera JPegs which are superb. He suggested this lens to me when I was looking to replace my Summicron 90mm, and it was a great recommendation.
I shoot mine on film solely and wouldn't know how to do micro-contrast, nor I suspect would my M5 here. I find it to be a delightful lens. In this case, I was glad of the 90mm as I was on one side of the road, and she was on the other!

Somehow, I found that almost any lens from Mike all produce same kind of rendering. My guess is: it is due to boosting of local/micro-contrast to artificially create the 3D pop effect. Whether it is from in-camera setting or post processing, I have no idea.
(Just an observation, not intended to cause offence. Apology if offended.)
No apology necessary. I shoot digital, I strive to get a consistent look and feel to my images. That's me, that's what I do. One other member of RFF said that he didn't bother to look at my photographs anymore because they all looked the same. Well, I guess you can't please everyone, but at least I can please myself.
All the best,
Mike

Wow Mike great shots, I can't wait for my Metalbones LTM-Sony adapter. I have a
Sony A7II and few LTM lenses a Voigtlander 35mm f2.5 and a Canon 35mm F2 it
should be different way to take pictures.

Thank you, Range-rover, it’s nice of you to say so.
I use the Voigtlander VM/E Close Focus Adapter set for the closest focus and a Kenko LTM to M adapter for using my LTM lenses on my Sony.
All the best,
Mike

I was thinking of selling the A7II but now with the adapters and it
being 24 megapixels full frame I think I'll hold on to it plus I received
the adapter today and the pictures so far came out great.
