Hold the distance dial firmly in place, and then carefully turn the little knob on the dial. It will be stiff, but that's whats keeping it in alignment. It's hard to do this while looking through the finder porthole, so it will take a few attempts before you get it right.
(The one I had came with the little blue-and-white Voigtländer box, and a folded instruction sheet.)
A great little rangefinder. Perfect for the Perkeo.
